Japan: All four major beer makers post higher first-half revenue

All four major beer makers in Japan posted year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue in January-June, on the back of robust operations in overseas markets, according to their earnings reports released by August 10.

Suntory Holdings Ltd. saw its revenue increase 15.2 pct to 1,373 billion yen, while Asahi Group Holdings Ltd.'s revenue rose 11.4 pct to 1,151.3 billion yen.
